In the process of detection, the tester used in QA should conform to SATRA TM92, serving for testing the anti-flexing performance of finished shoes and soles. It aims to test the cracking resistance of sole and product shoes in the process of repeated flexing . The equipment of detection is used for evaluating the flexing resistance of shoes under dry and wet conditions. Which also meets the standards SATRA TM92 & 77.
The shoes flexing tester is composed of the following components:
A) Swing the metal plate 140 times/min;
B) Two artificial feet with adjustable size and position;
C) Digital counter, with reset function. The number of times required by the experiment can be set;
D) Angle adjustment device, adjustable to zero (starting position);
E) A water receptacle with a small water pump, connected to the worktable, keeping the sole of the sample wet after loading. (Please use protective cover for wet test)
F) The control panel. It switches the working state of the instrument and sets the counter, including: the switch of controlling air , start button, stop button, manual button, reset button, preset electronic counter.
Sample requirements:
1.The finished shoes is required to place for 48 hours after processing, without obvious defects.
2.No less than two pairs of samples per group.
3.The sample should be tested in the laboratory after temperature adjustment for 6 hours.
Test conditions:
1. flexing Angle can be 30°45°, 50°, 60°, 90° and others.
2. The test speed is 50~150 times/min.
3. Laboratory temperature: 23±2℃.
Test steps:
1. Adjust the eccentricity of the testing machine to make the flexing Angle reach the specified Angle.
2. place the sample shoes on the test machine.
3. Adjust the distance of the press block over the shoe, to make the front end of the press block on the metatarsal toe part of the shoe.
4. Reset the counter to zero before the test, set the flexing times to the specified value, and start the host to begin the test.
5. Before reaching the specified number of tests, observe the changes of the shoe after flexing .
Test Report:
The flexing value is demonstrated by the number of flexing times. If there is no crack, the shoes are qualified.Crack length is expressed in millimeters. The test results of each pair of shoes shall be subject to visual inspection. If there is cracks in single shoe, this pair of shoes shall be treated as defective product.
